For People That Have Lost Weight: How Did You Do It?

I’m not looking for weight-loss products like Acai Berry, Hydroxycut, Diet Pills…etc.
If anyone out there has lost weight, please tell me your secret on how you lost it! (I mean losing weight as in GETTING FIT…not starving yourself!)
I don’t have much time this summer to exercise, but I’m REALLY desperate…I’m trying to change my diet? Any ideas?
My treadmill broke down too… =(
So please how do I lose weight easy in about 2-4 months?
Any pilates/yoga/small exercises that will help me lose weight FAST?

    I yo yo dieted for years but for me… I stress for ME… when I went low carb, first starting with Atkins, then over the years mofifying it, I lost 60 lbs and have kept it off for 5 yrs. I do hit the gym everyday and I watch what I eat 90% of the time… but it was my secret to a healthy lifestyle.
    Find what YOU can do ..forever..not just for a while

    You have to be really disciplined. Cut down on the size portions you eat. Plus all your full cream, cheese etc. Then what I did was I started to walk everywhere. I walked everywhere and not only did I feel better but I lost weight in places I thought I never would. Cut out read meat, eat white meat, chicken and fish. No chips, no butter, no full cream milk. Eat lots of omega 3 (all your fish in tins) and lots and lots of vegetables. If that doesn’t work, then I don’t know. Good luck

    i lost 42 lbs so far.
    i eat from 1200-1500 calories per day. I try to avoid bad foods and eat veggies and fruits to maintain my body’s function. I do allow my self to have a reeses atleast twice a week that is worked in my calories maintaining. I also run 3 miles a day and do spot training.
    after my run I do squats, sit ups, things of this nature. No tread mill…that’s ok. Buy a jump rope, or just take a mile long walk. walking a mile is about the same as running a mile.

    I lost 30 pounds (and counting) on Weight Watchers. They teach you how to eat healthy so the weight will stay off after you’re done with the program.
