Credit Cards And Diet Berries???? Huh?
ok- so I wanted to try the free trial of Ultra Acai Berries but i needed a credit card to pay for the s&h. So, I bought a Master Card gift card with 25$ on it and placed my order for the berry pills. Also, I bought some other things and used up all the money on the card. Now it turns out that the berry pills are sort of a scam and they send you a 30 day supply, (free trial on includes 15 days) and within 15 days after the order is made you need to return the product if you do not want to be charged for the 30 day trial (80 bucks!) (sorry this is long) So, my question is, since i used a gift card credit card with no more money on it, what will they charge if i don’t send back the “free” trial? thanksss!

They will try to bill the card and when they find there is no money.
They will bill you and send you to collections if you don’t pay. My experience (and believe me I’m a sucker and have beens scammed many times) is that if you tell them you will sue them or report them to the authorities or the BBB they will usually write you off and you will never hear from them again.
Sounds like you kinda scammed the scammers! Good for you.
(Don’t fall for foolishness like that again. Repeat after me — There ain’t no such thing as a free lunch)
They will likely yell and scream at you, but they really can’t do anything expect sent you a bill and threaten you. I would ignore them if they threaten you — if they are nice, put on a big smile and tell them you would be happy to return the unused product to them if they send you a prepaid label for UPS return (or a call ticket if they shipped UPS),
Of course, you know that they won’t do this, right? Because the product most likely costs $5 and the shipping was probably $2 US postal service…so they have their profit. They are just going to try to bully you into thinking you did something wrong.
Don’t listen.
